Abstract

In this paper, the residual current for each UPS operation mode was analyzed in a high-performance computer and an integrated cabinet for ships equipped with UPS. UPS is an essential configuration to ensure mission continuity, but a design compromise between power continuity and residual current management is required because multiple power conversion terminals and EMI filters and bypass paths are added. The proposed structure can be used as a design alternative to reduce the mutual impact between the residual current and path of the integrated cabinet while maintaining the function of power continuity and uninterruptible power supply.
