초록

해군작전 중 기뢰대항작전은 바다에 부설된 기뢰를 찾고 제거하는 작전으로 기뢰를 제거하기 위해 ‘기뢰탐색’과 ‘기뢰소해’를 실시한다. 이 작전에 적용되는 이론은 복잡한 수학이 적용된다. 대한민국 해군의 기뢰대항작전 이론연구는 NATO나 미국에 비해 미흡하다. 기뢰전 이론연구의 결핍은 고도화된 장비의 활용도를 저하하거나 새로운 체계개발과 계획수립도구 개발에 제한을 준다. 따라서 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해서는 첫째, 기뢰전 선진 국가/기구와 군사교리협력 확대, 둘째, 대학의 기뢰전 연구이론 참여 확대, 셋째, 기뢰전 연구기관 구성이 되어야 한다.

Abstract

During naval operations, mine countermeasure operation is an operation to find and remove mines installed in the sea. The theory applied to this operation is complex mathematics. Compared to NATO and the United States, the research on mine counter-operation theory of the ROK Navy is insufficient. Lack of research on mine warfare theory reduces the utilization of advanced equipment or limits the development of new systems and planning tools. Therefore, in order to improve these problems, first, it is necessary to expand military and diplomatic cooperation with advanced countries/organizations in mine warfare, second, to expand participation in mine warfare research theory at universities, and third, to form a mine warfare research institute.
