초록

본 연구는 한국군이 도입하는 Link-22 전술데이터링크 (TDL) 체계의 효과적인 상호운용성 평가 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 미군 및 NATO와 연합작전을 수행하는 필수적인 요소인 TDL은 그 특성상 상호운용성 확보가 무엇보다 중요하다. 한국군은 Link-16에 이어 Link-22 체계개발 사업을 진행하고 있으며 한국군 자체 시험평가와 한·미 연합 상호운용성 평가 간의 절차적 혼재와 비효율성이 발생하고 있다. 본 연구는 한국군과 연합 상호운용성 평가의 기준 및 절차를 종합적으로 분석하고, 유사성이 있는 항목에 대한 통합 및 결과 참조를 통해 효율성을 제고하는 발전 방향을 제시한다. 이를 통해 복잡한 Link-22 전력화 과정에서 시험평가 기간과 비용을 최적화하고, 궁극적으로 한국군 무기체계의 신속하고 안정적인 연합작전 수행 능력을 강화하는 데 기여하고자 한다.

Abstract

This study seeks to find an effective way to assess the interoperability of the Link-22 tactical data link (TDL) system, which the Republic of Korea Armed Forces are adopting. Given its role in combined operations with the U.S. and NATO, TDL’s interoperability is paramount. Following the Link-16, the ROK military is now developing the Link-22 system. This combination leads to procedural confusion and inefficiency between domestic and combined interoperability tests. This research comprehensively analyzes the criteria and procedures of both ROK military and combined interoperability assessments. It proposes a development path for enhancing efficiency by integrating and cross-referencing similar assessment items. By doing so, this study aims to optimize the testing period and costs during the complex Link-22 force-building process and ultimately contribute to strengthening the ROK military’s swift and stable combined operational capabilities.
