Abstract
In this paper, we propose an integrated similarity calculation methodology that incorporates various weighted-sum approaches for different data items to quantify the similar-item prediction method used in weapon‑system reliability analysis. Applying the proposed methodology to representative data demonstrated that it can effectively identify equipment with high similarity, enabling reproducible and objective selection of comparable systems. Additionally, automating similarity calculations for large datasets significantly improves analysis efficiency.
