한국형 유·무인전력 모함의 도입 필요성에 관한 연구: 모함·지휘함·강습상륙함 복합기능을 중심으로

초록

본 연구는 한국 해군이 추진중인 「한국형 유·무인 전력모함」에 대하여 전훈·기술발전·안보환경 등 흐름 속에서 도입 필요성을 분석한다. 또한, 이는 모함·지휘함·강습상륙함의 3가지 기능이 단일 선체에 유기적으로 결합된 미래전의 핵심 전력이다. SWOT 분석을 통해 한국 해군의 약점과 외부 위협의 교차점에서 플랫폼의 소요를 도출하고, 기능별 최적화 방안과 시너지를 제시한다. 한국 해군의 자원 제약과 작전환경을 고려할 때, 분산된 무인전력을 유기적으로 결집하고 해상기반의 통합 지휘통제(C2)를 달성하기 위해 세 기능을 단일 플랫폼에 통합하는 것이 가장 실효적인 한국적 해법임을 논증한다.

Abstract

This study analyzes the necessity of introducing the Korean Manned-Unmanned Force Mothership currently being pursued by the Republic of Korea Navy in light of recent operational lessons, technological advancements, and changes in the security environment. The platform is a core future warfare asset that organically integrates three functions—mothership, command ship, and amphibious assault platform—within a single hull. Through a SWOT analysis, this study identifies the requirement for such a platform at the intersection of the ROK Navy’s internal weaknesses and external threats, and proposes functional optimization measures and operational synergies. Considering the ROK Navy’s resource constraints and operational environment, this study argues that integrating these three functions into a single platform represents the most effective Korean solution for consolidating dispersed unmanned forces and achieving sea-based integrated command and control (C2).
