무인수상정의 전투효과도 분석

초록
한반도 주변 해역은 남·북한 해상분계선, 독도, 이어도 등 무력충돌 가능성이 높은 해역으로서 대한민국 해군력의 중요성은 날로 커져가고 있다. 한정된 자원을 가지고 주변 군사강대국들과 해군력 군비경쟁이 쉽지 않은 가운데 현대 전쟁에서 적은 비용으로 큰 효과를 발휘하고 있는 무인무기체계는 우리 해군력 건설의 중요한 전력으로 부상하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 확률형 전투모델을 통해 세 가지 국지전 시나리오에서 공격형 무인수상정이 북한, 중국, 일본 주요 수상함을 상대로 모의교전을 실시하여 무인수상정의 전투효과도를 분석하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 유도로켓으로 무장한 다수의 무인수상정은 노후화된 북한 해군뿐만 아니라 중국, 일본의 최신 구축함을 효과적으로 공격할 수 있음을 입증하였다. 이를 통해 향후 주변국 해군력에 대응하기 위한 우리 해군력 건설에 있어서 무인무기체계의 중요성과 필요성을 확인할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The importance of the ROK’s naval power is growing because of the high possibility of armed conflict in the waters surrounding the Korean Peninsula, such as the NLL, Dokdo, and Ieodo. With limited resources, however, it is not easy to compete with neighboring military powers for naval power, so the unmanned weapon system, which is effective at low cost in modern warfare, has emerged as an important force in the construction of our naval power. Therefore, this study analyzed the combat effectiveness of an unmanned surface vehicle by conducting simulated engagements against major surface ships of North Korea, China, and Japan in three local warfare scenarios through a stochastic combat model. Simulation results demonstrated that a number of unmanned surface vehicles armed with guided rockets could effectively attack not only the aging North Korean navy, but also the latest destroyers of China and Japan. It will be possible to confirm the importance and necessity of the unmanned weapon system in terms of the construction of our naval power to respond to the naval power of neighboring countries in the future.
