초록

트럼프 2기의 정책 방향은 중국의 부상에 따른 경제력, 국방력, 과학기술 위협, 그리고 미국인들의 위기의식에서 출발한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 트럼프 대통령은 미국 우선주의 기치 아래 강력한 경제력과 군사력을 건설하여 중국에 대응하여 미국의 황금시대를 열고자 할 것이다. 한국 해군의 대응은 북한 핵위협에 대한 대응능력 강화, AI 등 과학기술 도입, 미국 MRO사업과 연계한 함정 건조 및 정비 능력 강화를 통해 이루어져야 한다.

Abstract

Trump's second-term policy direction is based on the perception of threats from China‘s rising economic power, defense capabilities, and technological advancements, as well as the sense of crisis among Americans. To address these issues, Trump is likely to build strong economic and military power under the banner of “America First” to counter China and usher in a golden age for America. Korean Navy’s response should focus on enhancing capabilities to counter North Korea's nuclear threat, adopting advanced technologies such as AI, and improving shipbuilding and maintenance capabilities in conjunction with U.S. MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) projects.
